Our Plan

We are very fortunate to live in such a beautiful part of the world. Henley has so much going on year round and attracts visitors from all over the world.

But we are working to make our town even better.

Air quality is a major issue in Henley. We have long supported a ban on HGVs passing through the centre of the town and our County Council candidate Paul Harrison has put this issue at the centre of his pledge for Henley in the upcoming May 2021 elections.

We also want to see more electric vehicle charging points in the town. This will encourage car owners to make the switch from petrol and diesel to electric if there are convenient places to charge their cars.

And we want our streets to be safer for pedestrians. This is why Paul Harrison has pledged, if elected, to extend the 20mph zone to more residential streets.

  • Improving our infrastructure

    Expanding the 20mph zone.
    More electric vehicle charging points.
    Creating new zebra crossings.
    Clear up Henley's waste.

  • Supporting Henley's community

    Supporting Henley's business community.
    Revitalising retail in our town.
Making sure Henley's festivals and arts scene is given the support it needs.

  • An HGV ban in the town centre

We support a pilot night-time ban of HGVs in the town centre which will lay the groundwork for a 24/7 ban.
This will make our streets safer, reduce pollution, reduce noise and protect the historic buildings in Henley.
